The NBA’s Top Five Shooting Guards

The NBA preseason begins in less than 40 days and the league's buzz has not had a chance to die from the Finals, to the Olympics and now there are debates going around about player's deserving the salaries that they earn. That debate goes hand in hand with the rankings that we have been posting lately, so we are here to continue with the positional rankings and this time we look at the shooting guards of the NBA. The two guard is one of the most glorified positions in the game of basketball and it is typically where many teams on all levels put their best scorers. So let's look at some of the game's best scorers…

The Top Five Shooting Guards of the Game Today

  1. Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
  2. Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat)
  3. Manu Ginobili (San Antonio Spurs)
  4. Joe Johnson (Brooklyn Nets)
  5. Monta Ellis (Milwaukee Bucks)

 There are five other shooting guards that are on the rise and should be worthy of a fans' attention. These names should be already known to basketball fans, but still these are the ones that could find themselves in the top five in another year or two.

  2. Andre Iguodala (Denver Nuggets)
  3. Eric Gordon (New Orleans Hornets)
  4. Kevin Martin (Houston Rockets)
  5. O.J. Mayo (Dallas Mavericks)
