The young Golden State Warriors have lost back to back games, they were blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers and then lost in double overtime to the Denver Nuggets at home. Warriors big man Andrew Bogut has been ruled out for the game against the Hawks and the three following games with an ankle injury. Golden State is led by young guard Stephen Curry (day-to-day), who is averaging 17.7 points per game and 5.1 assists. Klay Thompson is getting 16.7 points a game in his first full season as a starter in the NBA and David Lee is not to be looked over with 14.3 points and 9.9 boards per game. The rest of the starting lineup consists of rookie Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli, who is filling in for Bogut.
Most of the Atlanta Hawks games so far this season has come down to what happens in the fourth quarter. Coach Larry Drew has been putting together his lineups based on matchups and as the game gets late he goes with who has the hot hand. Some games that heat has come from Lou Williams and sometimes Kyle Korver; starters Josh Smith and Al Horford have been the go-to guys down the stretch lately. Josh Smith and Lou Williams were battling stomach illnesses in Atlanta's last game against Portland. Devin Harris suffered a hamstring injury against the Blazers and is listed currently as day-to-day. Smith and Williams are expected to be ready to go against the Warriors.Tags: Andrew Bogut, Atlanta, Atlanta Hawks, Basketball, David Lee, Josh Smith, Klay Thompson, Lou Williams, NBA, Stephen Curry
