The Hawks fell into the lull of the Orlando Magic's game. The Magic led by two points after the first quarter and were only down four by halftime. The Hawks ripped off a nice run, as they began to play their style of basketball and after that they were off and running. At one point Atlanta had leads of up to 22 points in the fourth quarter before finishing the game up by nine.
Al Horford led the Atlanta Hawks with 15 points and nine rebounds and Lou Williams came off of the bench to add in 14. Jeff Teague had nine points and seven assists, Ivan Johnson also had nine points to go with eight rebounds and Zaza Pachulia had eight points and eleven rebounds.
Glen Davis is the only Magic player to score in double figures, he had 11 points and seven rebounds. Jameer Nelson, Moe Harkless and Josh McRoberts all scored eight points for Orlando. The Orlando Magic scored only 14 points in the second quarter and 12 points in the third. They committed 19 turnovers and just as many fouls, the Magic proved to be a scrappy bunch but they were not up to the task of beating the Atlanta Hawks. Nelson and J.J. Reddick are battling illness issues, issues that are similar to what the Hawks were going through when they were on the road.
The Atlanta Hawks host a troubled Washington Wizards team before they go on the road again for a game against the Charlotte Bobcats, who seem to finding their own identity.
