The Atlanta Hawks are set to host the Denver Nuggets, who have a 4-8 record on the road, on a nationally televised game on ESPN. The Nuggets are coming off of a 113-110 victory over the Toronto Raptors, while Atlanta lost a tough one at home (113-111) to the Cleveland Cavaliers minus Kyrie Irving. Before the Hawks lost to the Cavs they were on a six game winning streak and the Nuggets lost three before defeating the Raptors.

For the Nuggets, guard Wilson Chandler is out with a hip injury and forward Danilo Gallinari is listed as day-to-day. Denver is ranked second in overall rebounds per game and Hawks' coach Larry Drew has already gone on record to say that if Atlanta does not rebound well then it will be a long night. Denver has an overall record of 9-9 and is led by Gallinari with 15.5 points per game, Kenneth Faried is their leading rebounder with 10.5 rebounds and Ty Lawson leads the squad in assists (7.2) and steals (1.9).

Atlanta has listed Kyle Korver as day-to-day with back spasms, DeShawn Stevenson is also listed as day-to-day after leaving practice from a blow to the head, and Anthony Morrow is also listed as day-to-day. Since the loss to the Cavaliers the Atlanta Hawks have focused on their defense and their rebounding. Atlanta is currently in overall rebounds per game but they are currently ranked sixth in the points allowed department (93.5). Josh Smith is leading the Hawks with 16.1 points and 2.4 blocks per game, Al Horford is the top rebound grabber with 9.5 a game and Jeff Teague leads Atlanta in assists (7.1) and steals (1.8).

Things to look for in the game: Watch out for how many minutes Anthony Morrow plays, he is the team leader in the three point percentage (53%), but his time on the floor has been inconsistent. If Korver continues to rest Morrow should be depended on to step up and add fire power from the outside.
